I do enjoy enjoy blogging now that I have had several entries published as practice. The more I submit, the more I begin to develop online communication skills that are clear and appropriate. Such as, the way that my openings' (all entries) were lively and welcomed any readers into my thoughts while still maintaining a neutral tone to support the diverse attitude of different readers.
The challenges are that it is public so authors must have properly edited and revised their post before submitting it to the online world. An example is my "HASHTAG" post. The fifth paragraph has a color mistake behind the period symbol (5,1). Although it is not a huge error, it is still preventable had I taken more time to proof my entry prior to its publish.
I learned that allowing the online world to know my thought, is not necessarily terrible thing because more often my peers share similar opinions. Therefore, we are able to connect with one another in an approach that is comfortable.Similarly, I learned, as a student, that english and proper writing skills are tools that I will be able to use in everyday activities. For instance, In my first entry, I stated that my blogging would be specifically aimed at topics that I am interested in learning more about. In other words, blogging is a resourceful educational tool. However, there was little or no change to my understanding of any assignments or my classmates.
Of course, I feel that blogging was a useful part of the class because if it was not, then it would have not be created to begin with. Not to mention, that its structure allowed the class to gain confidence in their writing.
I am not sure how to engage on this topic because hashtags are completely alien to me. I know, I am not "hip" as my mother always tells me, but Ill take a wild guess at it anyway... When I hear the term "hashtag" I think of a kind of verbal label. Kind of how asterisks are used in instant messaging; They outline whichever action word is presented. This, represents that person "physically" performing the aimed cyber move. An example, *laugh*, *cry*, or *tickle*. Obviously, these are physical movements that cannot be done through typing. The concept simply adds more characterized details to internet communication. Moving forward, a hashtag must be an upgraded version that extends an author's voice into the cyber community. Another could be that is instead just a more generalized verbal topic of the text which can be seen in hashtag like, #party, #smile, and #hug. In actuality, hashtag is a noun that is defined online, on dictionary.com, as a means to identify a keyword that focuses on a specific topic of interest; In order, to conveniently locate additional information. If used in the pretense that I foresaw (as a verb), hashtag becomes an action verb instead of a descriptive noun. An example would be, " She is addicted to hash tagging." It appears that just like any other trend, or style, (#) hash tagging originated in 2009 on Twitter ( according to Urban Dictionary), and was first used as, "#flight1549". The tweet was created by a user that was acknowledging a plane crash into the Hudson River. The popularity grew after correspondences were made to the tweet and common knowledge spread about the useful hashtag symbol. It is amazing how someone can do something ever so slightly and it travel around the world until reaching a point of common knowledge. Things like this make me wonder why so many people doubt one person changing the world. New trends begin everyday so that it is almost impossible to see the process of change.
Previously,
in the introduction entry, a reference was made in regards to Sunshine Network
Blog, Entry #6. Alongside was instructions to keep an eye out for a fallow up regarding
the research study that my son and I entered.
Well
thankfully, the wait has finally come to an end!
Introducing a correspondence, boldly note that I was unable
to finish analyzing the third page of Governor Doug Ducey Next Step instead my

nomination of Parental Duty.It is
important to interrupt and look at each separately before considering an

points out that on 42% of Arizona in adults have a college degree. My thought
is that why is that unacceptable?
After all, education
is a choice that is supported by Ducey. Not to mention, how is it logical to
put standards upon an issue that varies person to person, and their needs
versus wants with keeping an open mind to the fact that it’s a choice not a
requirement. Then I wonder how does he plans on actually raising this percent
to 60 one? Maybe also described as changing 18% of people’s decisions, at what
cost though?
Next, is the false pretense that parent empowerment is
valued in the community. Although it is surely realistic it does not describe
the current parental standards at all. The phrase parent empowerment is a concept
that describes parents as the primary teachers to their own children, according
to the online source, Families and Schools Together. On the contrary, it has seemed
that statistics regarding parents are rising in child abuse due to the increase
in single-parent homes partnering with a survival requirement of two- income producing
parents, as explained on the Health Profits website. If that’s the case, it should
be questioned, if child abuse is all time high 48.8% and is due to lack of
Parental availability, then when does the parent have time to take on a study session with their
kids?
Actually, it sounds
like Ducey is prioritizing the wrong kind of issues, in my opinion. Ultimately,
by bringing up these two points together it is obvious that somewhere someone
would like to mislead the public into thinking ideally about having a choice,
but he fails to inform the plan of enforcing new policies and manipulating basic
standards so that it will force the public in only one direction. Of course,
that direction will give officials more power, less free choice to the public, and
will end up hindering society’s overall ability to pursue happier living circumstances.
Despite obvious speculations, Ducey’s plan to support
Proposition 123 in the community has already approved 142 million dollars to K
through 12 education and another 38 million to universities. Hopefully, this
additional money may be used for not only in new ways of teaching parents to
role model for their kids, but even
more significant underlying issues, like teacher’s pay currently being
under reasonable standards. In turn, that should help aid the concern of poor
teaching methods.
The year in the year 1789 was the separation of the United
States from Great Britain. The National Archives of Founding Documents proves
that the Constitution was formed to shape the federal government. highlighting in order to form
a more perfect union. US Constitution, one contrary to a more perfect union, is
Michael Moore’s movie capitalism. It is a true reality that will slap even the
most ignorant communities in the face. In order to provide an understanding first,
compare the term capitalism to the intentions of the constitution. In the
movie, more walks his viewers through our country’s Miss guidance into a nation
that is run by corporate offices and money. This means that the corporate world
is free enterprise to profit off their consumers in any way desired. Therefore,
quality, the equality that is seen within a union is challenged by the concept
of capital business.
At first, capitalism
is marketed as “free enterprise” with advertisement promising Americans the
choice of where they want to work. Of course, Moore’s point of view exploits
the marketers’ deception through contrasting what the policy says verses what
it actually ends up doing. It’s undoubtable that capitalistic actions have been
completely opposite to what was originally promise. As previously mentioned the
industry was disguised as offering diverse options of employment to the city;
However, the film describes otherwise while describing Ms. Andrew’s desperate
job hunt every morning since being laid off (28:27). Therefore, the profiting
industries heighten the cost of items, lower the material’s quality, terminated
more than half of the available jobs, and overall bringing the economy into an unemployment
crisis. Meanwhile, the wealthy class were provided tax cuts.
Even worse, this sort
of enterprise endangered work unions which results in no job security for Americans.
The nation’s middle class slowly is began deteriorating as well. With that in
mind, the outcome looks like the poor stay poor or lose what’s left while the
rich stay rich or just get richer;Basically, most people will not have an
opportunity to grow beyond being poor.
Referring back to the
simple online definition of capitalism, Miriam - Webster’s Learner’s Dictionary
defines the practice as a way of organizing an economy so that things that are
used to make and transport products (such as land, oil, factories, ships etc.)
are owned by individual people and companies rather than by government 1.
An illustration of this can be seen in the mid beginning of Morris film as he
observes President Ronald Reagan giving a public speech. During this Don Regan,
corporate owner of Myrle Lynch and State Treasurer Chief Secretary of the State
(Ronald Reagan’s presidency) informed the president of the United States that
he needed to “speed it up” (19:02). As pointed out, since Don was richest man,
his word was more powerful than the government and camouflaged itself by hiding
control over government officials, like the president.
Currently, I have been working at an unexpected
establishment. Fortunately, it has opened up a whole new way of seeing society.
In short, I really enjoy working at Tolmachoff Farms and I happily support the
company’s cause. The people who manage it are outstanding to not only their
customers, but also the people who volunteer their time there as well.
Additionally, the employees are marvelous and the positive environment is a refreshing
contribute too. Most important is the valuably to our community that is within
my position.
I am a “field trip” farmer at Tolmachoff Farms. While on the
clock, my duties allow me to share a glimpse of the tremendous amount of work
load endured by all our local farmers. The best part is that I have the privilege
to actively engage children (most of Maricopa County) in such activity. Like, walking
out to an ongoing stretch of field, underneath the flaming hot sun, to hand
pick fresh beautiful cucumbers, zucchini, swiss chard spin age, and radishes.
Then, making way to the corn crops to learn how an entire stock (from root to tassel)
is used to make everyday products (glue, soap, tires).
It is surprising how excited everyone reacts to the notice
of a lady bug running along a turnip leaf. Even more mind blowing is, how many
of the students have no idea what a farm is or their purposes. In fact, to me
that is a “big red flag” stating to the public that farming has been pushed so
far back, that educators are able to utilize such establishments as museums.
Eventually, they may only be heard of through history books.
What could that be implying about society’s
future?
It appears that the way people are taught to rise their
children is so very limited. Even worse, is that the younger generations are an
era of boredom, lethargic actives, and complete obsession with the quickly
advancing world of technology. This is the reason that “family time” has been significantly
reduced in most households. After while I believe, parents do not intend to lose
their family activity hours with their children; Instead, they experience a “burn
out”, or they give up. This can be seen when parents become unable to generate
fresh ideas for initiating family involvement. Not to mention it becomes more
of a hassle, as the year in age rises, since teenagers tend to resists such occasions
due to social conflicts. Inevitably, family distance for one another. Often people
do not realize, that by going back to a more “simple” (actually harder working)
way of life, they can experience family fun as it should be.

Welcome to the Sunshine Network (part 2). A brief recap, my
name is Monae Tanner and I am a twenty-five-year-old mother to a beautiful
little boy, Christian. I will reference him often throughout the next eight
weeks. In fact, I will even be issuing updated information that continues Sunshine
Network, “Freeman-Sheldon
Syndrome” (#6); so, keep an eye out for that!
My first Mother's Day with my little man!!
At the moment, my main focus is self-sufficiency. As a
single mom, to a higher needs child, I often find myself needing to rely on
those around me for support. Surprisingly, I am not satisfied with having so
much assistance despite my eternal gratitude. That is the reason that I am in
college pursuing an Associates in Business/Political Science, in order to
higher my income and fallow my passion. In short, I am self-motivated and
interested in only becoming self-sustainable so that I may provide a stable environment
for my child without sacrificing my own happiness.
...The question is, what the heck could possibly make me so
happily passionate under a political degree?!After all, politics is not known for its “pleasant environment”.
Contrary, I firmly believe that anything that relates to how our communities function,
should have a positive place in society. Therefore, my attention is uncontrollably
directed towards becoming a person of value in both that political and civil
community. This will allow me to empower lower educated individuals with the
knowledge necessary for appropriate participation with all government affairs.
This could be direct towards simply voting and knowing exactly what a person is
actually supporting, or at least has the resources to find out. However, I am
going to leave it at that, for now because once I get started talking about my
passions, it is an escalation for that point forward.
My final thought, my obvious intentions for this blog over the
next eight-week period is educationally based. By this, I mean that whatever I post about, will be
directly reflecting whatever situation I am dealing with, at that moment. In
addition, I am hoping that my blogger may adequately serve as a journal recording
the significance behind certain first-time learning experiences I face and the
feelings associated with each moment. Overall, my blog is going to spontaneously
focus on “real-time” learning and interests of a young adult mother trying to “figure
it out”.
